all right what's going on everyone welcome back Chase with shifi here and today we are on part three of our series and we're actually working on a client's website that we just got a $2,000 payment for and what we're doing is we're actually transferring their website to a new CRM because right now they current website is on WordPress and while WordPress is cool it's not that cool uh there's a lot of problems with WordPress and ideally there isn't really a uh automated system associated with their current website and what we want to do is we want to not only rank them on Google number one for the keywords they want to show up for and also give them a good website but we also want to set up an automated system for for them so that when people come into their business uh we can help them get more reviews and start doing email marketing and start doing texting and just all the cool stuff that we want to be able to do for this business that we're going to need a CRM for now by the way person for helping us set up these sites okay and we're going to be using a website um called online jobs for that so we actually do have two ads out uh I was actually going to wait for us to hire these people before we did the next part of this series but then I thought to myself uh might be a little while before we actually hire these people so it's probably going to be better for me to just go and uh and create content now so that you guys can kind of just see what's going on with this series because there's still a lot of things that we can work on and ultimately um I wanted to just show you anyways what you're going to have to do if you don't have the budget to go and hire somebody uh to do a lot of this for you but by the way if you are enjoying this series you want to stay there's millions and millions of websites in the world um some are in the US some are in the UK some are in you know there's there's websites everywhere right so uh yes you can do this anywhere you want all right so um let's get into where we left off so where we left off is we started transferring this website over to uh our CRM so we're going to go over to our CRM here and by the way before I and where we left off is we started working on their different pages on their website here and we really just only did the homepage to start okay so if I click on edit here we can see the um the main heading tag here the description the phone number um the text for the homepage everything that we put on the homepage now where we left off is we still have these different pages um to add right so we added th this one this one this one but we still need to add these other ones and then everything below here we didn't do so what I'm actually going to probably do here is I'm just going to create an outline of everything that needs to be accomplished within um phase one okay and then we're going to figure out first of all who can do all the help us with these things um but also um we're going to figure out what the short-term and long-term goal is for this website shortterm and long-term goal okay so short-term goal is we want to get them a new website right obviously new design new website but we also want to get them uh more more rankings right so they're showing up for some things here but not um everything is position one yet if I go to our tool here we can actually go and check what they're actually showing up for we can also check this within search console but if I click on the traffic Checker here and put in the website it will show me what this website is showing up for but overall um not uh not everything is number one right so Santa Barbara nurseries we are number one which is great um garden centers number one Wholesale Nursery number two Gardener Santa Barbara number three but check this out a lot of these Pages here we can actually um we can actually build new pages or sorry A lot of these keywords we can build new pages for these and we can rank number one just by having a page called Gardener Santa Barbara on our website right so um what we want to probably start doing is build out their dashboard okay so we're going to go into our tool we're going to click on add new project and we're going to click on Project name okay and then we're going to take the URL here log it in sorry should have named it the name of the business Okay click on create here we go we're going to click on select and now we have a dashboard for the different keywords now ideally we want to figure out first of all what are the keywords that they already have on the website and what are the keywords that they don't have that they need to rank for right um so first is coming up with the current map okay and we did this a little bit on the first video um but this is really important because as we start to migrate this site over right we're going to we're going to have to figure out what are the purpose of a lot of these Pages do we really want to migrate everything over or do we want to start combining some of these Pages maybe not all of this is really relevant for the website so if I go back into my keywords here and I go to the traffic Checker I can see right here the page and then I can see the keyword now here's the thing if if you see keywords that are showing up but the map for the page is not relevant right so what I mean by that is if we're trying to show up for Santa Barbara nursery on the homepage but then we have Garden Center also showing up for the homepage what that means is that there isn't irrelevant page for this and so it's just showing the homepage does that make sense so for Santa Barbara nurseries we know that the homepage is supposed to show up for this because that's what we want it to show up for but Google will often rank your homepage for a bunch of random keywords because it doesn't know another relevant page to show for that thing does that make sense so if we were to build this page on the website Garden Center Santa Barbara we would instead of showing the homepage for that we would actually show that separate page for that because that page is going to be specifically targeting that thing and so you can actually get a ton of new pages to create on the website just by looking and seeing what the homepage is showing up for and then finding okay what's this homepage showing up for that is uh not relevant to what it's trying to show up for okay so anyways if that doesn't make sense just stick with me I'm going to show you I'm going to show you here this in a second but Santa Barbara nurse 720 searches a month average cost per click 23 cents current rank okay so we're going to go ahead and we're going to map that as our first keyword so we can click on the check box and click on track and hopefully that gets into our uh topic tracker so now we have this tracked inside of our dashboard okay so um here we can see the URL Pro Garden Supply the status and so we know um that this this is our main keyword ranking for our homepage so and let's see if this updates the ranking for us um it should show us where we're currently ranking based on the site that we put in yep so it's one and our difficulty for this let's go check that really quick is 17 so that means we're only competing with 17 different websites so pretty easy keyword to rank for and you can see we're ranking number one for it now if we go back to our traffic Checker um and I'm not sure why this got uh reset let me see if I refresh this oh did I uh brick the site go back in here um so we're going to go back in the traffic Checker plug this in and then ideally we want to map the rest of our pages right so in the first video if you follow along you'll see that I did this manually in a Google sheet that the reason why is I just wanted to show you kind of how you would do this if you were to not have a tool but if you do have a tool right what you're going to do is you're going to map out the entire website okay so here's the thing you don't want to map up map out the website just from like a web design standpoint because if you just go map out the website it's not going to make any sense uh in terms of like you know what are you actually trying to go for you know what are people looking for and so it's much easier to figure out what keywords you need to rank for and then map out the web website what needs to be built on the website based on what people are actually looking for okay so here we go Santa Barbara nurseries that's mapped okay so we don't have to go and remap this um and and we don't need to go and track these other keywords because you want to figure out what is uh inside of a cluster okay so let's talk about a cluster so a cluster is basically it's just a cluster of the same thing so for for example Santa Barbara nurseries is the basically the same cluster as Santa Barbara plant nursery okay I don't need to build a separate page uh for this as I do for this because it's the same thing okay and so it's really important that you understand clusters because if you don't you're going to end up cannibalizing you're going to try to build um you're going to try to build multiple different uh pages and you're not going to need to you're going to try to optimize something that's not broken and then ideally you only want to put your content for the the cluster on that page right um now I know some people will probably say like a cluster is like a silo I don't believe it is um silos are a little bit different we'll talk about that in a second but siloing is where you actually have um supporting pages so anyways so we have Santa Barbara Nursery this is the same as this as this as this uh PR garden supplies um we're actually ranking the homepage for two keywords which is um the keyword plus the brand name okay so the the homepage should always rank for the brand name plus your keyword so all of these are relevant now Garden Center though is not part of that cluster this is actually part of something separate okay so we know that this is a separate page that we actually want to build on the website now the question is is there a relevant page for this and by us seeing that the homepage is um showing up for this thing that's a separate thing you might be wondering well how do I know that Garden Center is separate from you know Nursery because it's separate right nursery nursery nursery that's all basically the same thing Garden Center is not the same search as that okay so um just basically look at the words and see if they're like way out of place or not okay um but anyways uh if we go to so Wholesale Nursery that could that could potentially be a separate page um you can also determine whether or not you need to build another page based on where the thing's ranking okay so if you're ranking number one for this thing then chances are you don't need another page for it um if you're ranking number two for it then maybe you do because maybe it's not as relevant as it could be okay um so this could be a separate page just based on what we're seeing here with the ranking so anyways if we go to um garden centers what we're going to do is look we're actually number one for this so technically again you don't really want to uh fix something that isn't broken um if I go and do a incognito search on this I can see we're actually number four so you don't always want to rely on the data that Google gives you or that you know these keyword tools give you because here's the thing uh these tools are going to give you information based on average based on average position okay so average position is not the true position so average position means that you know let's say Google one day puts you at position three then it puts you at six then it puts you at two then it puts you at one then it puts you at seven and let's say your average position's like you know let's say that it says that the ranking is at three but in reality you're at number seven right now you always want to see where you're actually at and if you see a lot of fluctuations like this chances are you need to you know do some SEO because Google doesn't really know what to show you for and also the reason why you'll see a lot of this like um kind of like uh pogo sticking where you'll see like uh you know all these fluctuations is because Google isn't completely satisfied with your result and it's also testing your result against other results so sometimes it'll show you up higher based on um based on uh you know its test it'll say okay let's try putting them at one see how it does and if it doesn't do well then it puts you at two and then if it doesn't do well it puts you at four right um but overall right if we check the in title here and we see what we're showing up for uh look at this we have what one website two website I don't even think um this is actually I think it's giving us a broad match result here but um check this out we're not even really showing up for uh I mean nobody has this as a page right Garden Center Santa Barbara so um besides this guard you know Garden Center but garden centers is not really okay so anyways um because this is position on average probably like around four I'm I'm going to say that we probably should build a separate page for this so we're going to go ahead and track this go back to our tracker but here's what we want to do anytime you have a separate page right so we got Santa Barbara nurseries and the homepage is the one that we're going for this if we have a page uh that um let me click on edit here if we have a page that we need to build for this we're going to keep the finished URL blank and I actually don't know if it'll let me do this let me see let me open oh that opens the page might actually have to tell the developer to to change this so I might just put na for now see if that does it something about tracking these keywords keeps getting this thing to Brick I'm going to send this to the developer um but uh hopefully that makes sense right so you can determine whether or not you want to bundle all the content into one page or if you want to uh or if you want to build a new page because ideally we could just bundle this into the homepage but you know it's kind of up to you so we put na there as the Finish URL it means that the thing isn't done yet and then um let's go to the next one any questions so far everybody's quiet right now we got 36 people in here how do you guys feel today all right so we're going to go back to current rank now this is kind of an easy task here when you're up higher because everything's going to basically be the homepage 80% of your traffic usually comes from your homepage as it is um because usually a lot of your search is going to be brand related but as we start to dive deeper in here right now we have the fruit trees page so we know that that's one of our main Pages we got the plants uh plant transpl plant shock tree that's another page so these are all important pages to the site just taking notes right on uh I'm following you got it sweet uh Gardener Santa Barbara now check this out number three and we're actually not um we're not uh showing up very high for this because again what is the homepage going for nursery not Gardener so what we're going to do is we're going to build a page specifically for what Gardener right um and so again when we go back into our our dashboard we would end up taking this we'd end up switching this to na because it means that we need to go and build this page uh let's see Irrigation Supplies number five okay so we do have a page for that but it needs a little bit of um SEO to it right Garden Store Santa Barbara okay so this is number six and again if it's number six it's probably because the page is not very relevant for that thing we need a new page okay um now check this out how long do plants stay in shock after transplanting so that's going to be the same uh as plants trans uh plant shock treatment so we don't need to add keywords twice if we already if we already have the thing added right we don't need do you see what I'm saying there's no point in tracking your keywords twice because we already know what we want to optimize this page for um how to treat a row so again same page right um and so a lot of these are now pretty much the same mulch Santa Barbara okay this is another good one we just found a good one okay Santa Barbara plants that's number eight so that probably needs a page now hold on let's see was that similar to did we get plant Santa Barbara plant store Santa Barbara and is plant store Santa barbar going to be the same as Santa Barber plants maybe maybe not let's just add it and and here's the thing you can always build out these pages and if they don't rank well you can combine them later you can smush them together okay um and and I'll show you later on how how to actually you know see how these things are doing professional Garden uh I don't know how relevant that is we might kind of not focus on that because we're focusing on all of our local modified keywords right now uh okay so Garden Supply um sunflower now one of the quick ways that we can actually um find more of our local keywords is we just go up here on the top right on the filter and type in Santa Barbara okay so now we have a lot more keywords for Santa Barbara so now if we go through here we got uh a lot of the same stuff Santa Barbara peach tree that's new we didn't have that one before so we're going to add that Santa Barbara top soil we didn't have that so this is how you can start finding all these new keywords native plant Santa Barbara we don't have that Lemon Tree Santa Barbara we don't have that um that's actually probably I think a a hotel but still we could put that there CU some people might be actually looking for lemon trees um Gardens in Santa Barber Santa Barbara gardening that's a big one okay all right um and then and now what we can do now that we have all these keywords here we got all of our current keywords kind of mapped out these are all our current Pages these are our most important pages right now we just have to determine um which Pages do we have and which Pages do we not have Okay so the way we do that is we just look at our URLs so um there should be a way to expand this I guess there's not a way to see these the full URL paths here um but uh for example we know that this is the homepage so we have the homepage there we know Santa Barbara Garden gardening we don't have a page Force so we would switch this to um Na right we need a way to actually delete these so there's nothing there um but you'd go through and you'd find the pages that exist and the pages that don't exist okay and then once you're done with that then you can start finding your new pages okay but but this is really just phase one okay so what we're doing right whether we're working with a website that's you know transferring to a new CMS content management system whether we're we're transferring a uh to a new content management system system or we're staying on the current content management system right either way what do we need to do any guesses you guys tell me in the chat it's been quiet give me some guesses I'll just say it okay um there's a delay on the stream anyways uh so what we need to do is we need to basically take inventory okay so this is really important uh a lot of people they mess up and what they do is they just go straight to keyword research for new page and they go like what can we rank for next okay you don't want to do that okay so what you want to do is step one you want to inventory all of the current pages on your website okay so you want to figure out um you know let's say we have 20 pages on our website okay what are the most valuable pages on the website and and here they are we just found them right um now remember some of these Pages don't even exist yet right like um we have keywords that are showing up so we have the new pages that we need to build and then we have all of our current pages that we need to optimize and then once we figure out what we need to show up for let me actually just go ahead and download this just so you can see it a little bit better we're going to go ahead and Export this as a CSV okay so once we have these uh Pages ready oh it looks like it trunk did it truncate these oh it truncated them too need to fix that um but once we have these then we just need to assign the the the keywords to the pages and then we need to figure out what the the score is so how how well optimized these are um and and there's certain things that we need to do from an onpage standpoint right like make sure there's certain content mentioned on the page make sure all the titles match what these keywords are okay um so that's what we need to do and then and then after we do that once we figure out the current Pages then we can do the keyword research for the new pages and and for that it's actually pretty simple um and what you do is you just take all your current keywords here we go to the topic tracker and we pass them to the topic tracker I need an easy way to bulk input all of these um but you would take let me just let me just throw some of these into a notepad here just so I can enter them um but we would take gardening dubstep kid says is this something that you would constantly be doing or just a generalized beginning so this is kind of like it's kind of like this depends on how much the client wants right so right now we're charging two grand to just bring them a give them a new website and then you know do their initial SEO for their their starting pages but if we wanted to you know do another two grand package like next month then we could focus on all their new pages that they need right and so you can kind of determine how much you want to do for them for what price um so you know I'm actually doing a lot for what we're doing here is a lot for uh for two grand so they're actually getting a pretty good deal here because ideally in the past I wouldn't do a website as well I would just do just the key keywords okay um because the website would be separate but um right now we're just doing this because I wanted to show you guys how this works so I'm I'm throwing in a bunch of extra stuff so I can just kind of show you guys you know what you would do uh but anyways we' go Santa Barber gardening put that there add keyword Santa Barbara nurseries add peach tree right and so what we're doing is we're taking all the keywords that we found on the website and we're throwing them into our keyword research tool and then we're going to use AI you see it says enhance with AI we're going to be using AI to um to give us even more ideas okay so um whoops oh man I messed that up I shouldn't have it we need to make it so that if we accidentally click out of it doesn't lose everything um and then and then that's how we're going to figure out our next Pages now remember like we're not going to go build all these pages right we're going to show these keywords to the client we're going to say hey we're going to go optimize your current main pages right let's say we get we go and agree to do like 10 of the main pages but for all these new pages we need to go and we need to build content we need to you know hire a writer um and we need to potentially go and build out all these pages right and so let's say you offer them 10 new pages a month and you're charging $100 or $200 a page there you go that's you know th000 or $2,000 a month click on submit see all the keywords up here all right so now we got even more keywords and then what we can do is we can click on update all difficulty and then this is going to go through the 119 uh keywords that our AI system found and it's going to tell us hey these are the easiest keywords so let it run and and by the way the reason why it has to run like this and we have to wait is because what it's doing is it's doing an entitle check for every single one of these keywords and we found that entitle uh checks are the easiest way to find you know the the the best uh keywords to rank for all right so for example whatever this is Luca Santa Barbara 108 difficulty 10 searches a month definitely we're not going to go for that but look at this we found wood chip Santa Barbara so that's a page we can put on the website that's great Santa Barbara oak tree okay why not uh Daisy Santa Barbara I'm not really sure what the intent is for that let's actually go look at that okay that's a restaurant so probably not plants we kind of already got this one so we don't need to keep adding it um best nurseries in Santa Barbara that could be like a list article that we build so we might actually do that one Wholesale Nursery that's definitely a page we could do um Bonia I think that's a plant this is why it helps to know what you're what you're uh talking about here because you know I actually don't know much about all these plants um Sage Santa Barbara okay that's good I know what Sage is and so it looks like there's just all these different types of plants that we can actually show up for for this client Santa Barbara cactus garden um Japanese garden right so these are all things people are looking for succulent garden and by the way once you run out of all these local modifier keywords right you can always um you can always end up building uh Pages for you know other locations right so like the surrounding counties you could also try to start showing up for um you know different how-to type uh uh blog articles because you can actually build the authority of the website by showing up for um you know just general information type posts best fruit trees that might be a good one that's like a top article free wood chips okay so we got a lot of these good ones and then by the way if we um you know if we get to the point where we run out of ideas here as well what we can do check this out is I can go um I can go back here I can uh let me just click on stop I can click on select all and then I can click on more AI keywords and then this will actually feed this into chat GPT and give us even more ideas um Harry from Harry and the Henderson kept eating the Bonas I actually don't know if I've ever heard of that but I will take your word for it um all right so let's see if it finds us anymore um you got to remember with with these local keywords right you're going to see um you're going to see a lot of random stuff some of it's going to be good some of it's going to be not good um don't only rely on these key keyword tools um you also want to look at something like search console because search console will give you even more ideas because it'll actually show you what Google's actually showing you for and uh and that's how you can get even more you know data um because you know the keyword tools can always only go so far and if you really want more data you can start running PPC ads and PPC ads will give you a lot more data but check this out look at all these keywords um that we're you know showing up for here but this should be good for now to start um so what we want to do now that we have a lot of the main keywords here is we want to go and we want to just add all these to the dashboard which we have now and then we want to go to the topic tracker and we can actually export all of this and send this as an update to the client so I can click on PDF now I have a PDF and check this out I can send this to the client say listen these are all the main things that we're going to go for first um you know some of these have Pages some of these don't but but um you know hopefully this looks good to you and then uh and we can even show them where they're currently ranking as well so pretty cool right uh itst says Chase I built a GMB op Optimizer for seeing what a GMB profile needs oh cool right on um all right so uh now that we have this we're going to go let's just export it now that we updated the rankings we're going to send it to ourself just so we have this and we have the first part of this done okay so what did we achieve so far we achieved basically selling the you know selling the audit in the road map um we have now the existing Pages for the website right and then we have the um the new pages for the website and by pages I mean new existing keywords and then now we have a list of the new keywords Pages we need and remember in Phase One we're only just optimizing their current pages and then we have the the old website right that we're transferring to the new website now that's all we're going to end up doing for the $2,000 package okay that's two grand right there now could we do a lot more yes but you know this is already a ton of stuff that we're going to do now in phase two what we want to end up doing is we want to start pitching the other things that need to happen right like we need to build more pages we need to integrate the AI chatbot you know the CRM the Google reviews the automations the email marketing there's all kinds of other stuff that we need to do um but we can kind of let the clients select what they need because ideally all we're really doing is we're taking the stuff that we're doing and we're just tying a value to it right so you know the stuff that we're doing you have to ask yourself is it worth $2,000 and you know what I'm doing I would say is definitely worth $2,000 because what is the client going to make out of this by us going and doing all this for them definitely over $2,000 okay in new revenue and new customers so this is Justified very easy to to sell this and you could sell this pretty much all day every day um now as far as phase two I don't think we'll have a problem selling that either and I think we could basically get this client on a you know around a $2,000 a month p package because can we provide uh $2,000 a month worth of value 100% every day you know all day we can do that okay um now that you might be wondering well how do I automate this right so ideally at a certain point you know you need somebody to help you with certain steps in here right like you know going and mapping out the pages like we just talked about or um having somebody go and and and build the new pages and do the content and do the setup right so that's all things that you can figure out later but right now let's just understand how to do this yourself yourself and then you can figure out how to automate okay all right now as we get more clients what we're going to want to do is we want to start having a spreadsheet of you know all the different people that we're working with okay and again please let me know if you guys think that this stuff is you know is helpful or not because your feedback is is more helpful than you can even imagine uh we have thousands and thousands of people that watch these videos and we have like a handful of people that actually you know leave a comment so please just give me your feedback if you can all right so now we're going to have a spreadsheet okay so we're going to do client spreadsheet you guys know how much I like spreadsheets so we're going to start naming the tops of the columns client okay client name um so starting out we have Pro Garden Supply here uh we're going to have the budget $2,000 okay we're going to have what we're agreeing to SEO package and this is kind of just a basic SEO package we're not doing anything super complicated you know we're optimizing um like 10 pages and giving them a new website so 10 page slash uh new site okay awesome um and then from there uh we have the status okay so whether it's done or not so we'll do in progress okay now as you get more and more people signing up for your stuff you need to have a way to track where they're at okay so um we have another client that we are going to probably help as well um which is our doctor so Purity Clinic and maybe we'll have their website as well somewhere but I mean I kind of know what their website is so we're going to do the same thing $2,000 we're going to do 10 page optimization we're going to do in progress on that as well um well actually we're going to say waiting payment okay and then uh we have a dealership that we're likely going to help again and remember $2,000 is kind of the smallest package right like this is where we start um we could do a lot more you got to remember like the clients get out of the the stuff that we do based on what they put in right so if they put in you know 2,000 bucks okay yeah we can go and spend some time going and optimizing the pages getting them to rank for whatever they want to rank for but you know ultimately if they want us to go and like do a bunch of stuff for them right well we're going to need some more money because we can only spend so much time right you might think $2,000 is a lot of money but when you're spending time on everybody's websites it's actually not that much compared to you know there's there's businesses that put hundreds of thousands of dollars a month into their marketing okay most of these businesses don't put anything into their into their marketing so just remember that okay and then we also have phases right so these guys are on phase one phase one phase one ultimately like we want to get them uh to you know phase three phase four where we're doing all of their other stuff right like not just doing their SEO but doing their email marketing doing their ads doing everything else that we can do for them right okay cool so boom so this one we're actually waiting for the audit um the budgets to be determined for this one okay okay um so yeah that's pretty much it guys that's what we got to do and then ideally as well you know you don't want to just wait for clients okay so this is the one big problem I see people um always you know they mess up on they go well I don't have any clients yet I can't add anybody in the spreadsheet add yourself to the spreadsheet right make yourself a client perform an audit on your own site and assign some sort of budget based on what your time is so if your time time is 10 hours and you're charging $200 an hour then say you're going to spend 10 hours on your own site okay and do an audit okay um dubstep kid says we also provided you can run through these steps fairly smoothly from the beginning to end just the 10 keyword optimization of the website how long does that generally take ultimately meaning how long would it take for me to start and finish a $2,000 package um I mean you could do this all in a day you could you could do you know a $2,000 package in a day if you're you know if you're going to spend enough you know you you spend what let's say it's 10 hours or maybe 12 hours for you to do this you could get up at 6:00 a.m.
And go till 800 p.m. and probably get it done um so yeah uh but anyways yes so if you don't have any clients yet though like part of the reason I'm getting these clients is why well first of all I have the YouTube channel but second of all um I have the uh I have the case studies right I can show people like hey look I ranked for this I ranked for that and then so it's easy for me to sell because I already have the case studies around it right um so yeah anyways uh if you guys have time I might actually do the audit for um for our own site because these other sites have kind of already been done here um and then I'm going to put up here here uh notes so for PR Gard Supply we're waiting on the new pages to be transferred over okay and then for Purity we're waiting on client to uh send payment okay autoboom waiting to talk to owner and So based on the notes right you can check on your notes every day and you can say okay I need to get in touch with this person I need to get in touch with this person right shin ify need to do the audit okay so um these ones are pretty good to go I need to get on the phone with them obviously um but uh we can actually do this next I wonder if I should do it on this stream I probably should um give me a second I'm just thinking here for a second all right yeah why not let's do it the only reason the only reason I'm thinking about this right now is because you got to understand I have like so many different businesses that I'm working with that um like including my own that I'm like okay what do I do I need to go um let me think about this guys I'm going to end it here um but uh I will keep you updated I might do a separate live stream today but if you got some value from this let me know keep me posted and I'll see you in the next one till then Happy moneymaking see you guys bye
