🎧 Best Ambient Noise Remover Comparison! Krisp vs. Iris Clarity vs. CrystalSound | Unbiased Review

I'm really excited to make this video. I'm going to be comparing three
ambient noise reduction softwares. First of all, we're going to be comparing Krisp, which is top dog
for noise reduction. Second, we're going to be comparing Iris Clarity, which is a popular choice,
which was on a lifetime deal previously. Right now, that's on a lifetime
deal is CrystalSound. Those three are going to be
comparison unbiased review. You're going to be seeing for yourself,
which one is the best. On this video comparison,
we're going to be testing ambient noise from an airport,
from a coffee shop, and a baby crying. Let's go test this out. Let's get started with this comparison. Now, before I actually jump into some ambient noise from an airport,
coffee shop, and a baby crying, I want to show you that I'm on the latest
version from these three softwares.

First of all, Krisp.
Let me show you Krisp. This is the latest version
2.22.0. For IRIS clarity, here we go. Let's go ahead and check this out. About Iris Clarity,
1.8.5. That's the latest one. For CrystalSound,
let's go ahead and check this out. Let's go to the About. It's 1.1.1. Okay, so these are
the latest version for all these three. Be aware for CrystalSound, I did have
an issue downloading the latest version. It was always going to download the
1.04. It's tricky. If you're not on this one, if you don't see Recording Magic,
you're not on the latest version. Okay?
Okay, so we got these three going. As I speak, I'm going to show you how I'm
switching between all these, and you'll see on the bottom which one
is the one that you're hearing. First thing you're going
to hear is some airport noise. I'm going to be silent for a bit so you
can hear the airport noise, how loud it's going to be and what
type of noise you're going to reduce.

All right, so now I'm talking,
I haven't touched the noise, that's the same noise,
and I'm trying not to speak louder. I'm just trying to keep my voice in the same loudness so you
can hear how it sounds. Now, right now, Chris and Iris Clarity are
not on a lifetime deal, so you would have to buy those month
to month or grab the free version. Chris has a really great free version. Now, if you want to go for a lifetime that's going on right now,
CrystalSound is on a lifetime right now. OK enough for the airport test. Now, we're going to do the coffee shop. Let's go switch over here
and let's start the coffee shop. Again, I'm going to be silent
so you can hear the sound. Okay. So. That is the coffee shop
right now as you're hearing. Right now, they started looking
at Espresso, and you're hearing people talk, you'll hear some
plates clinging there.

I'm not sure if you're going to hear this
in the end audio with these ambient noise reductions, but again, like I said,
this is a great test from these three softwares that are
ambient noise reductions. Now, going back to the lifetime deal for
CrystalSound, the reason I'm showing you this is because obviously right
now it's a lifetime deal. And if you want to take
advantage of that lifetime deal. It's available now. So last year, tier one, you get one user,
three devices per user. So that means three computers,
two laptops, one desktop, etc. Or your wife, you and your son,
daughter, whatever. Or if you want to talk to lesson tier two, which gives you three users,
three devices per user.

So that means.
Nine devices. And if you want to go
for lesson tier three, okay. So that's the baby. He is still crying.
I think it's a he. And it's.
Just in between. It stops and then it gets loud. Right now it's loud,
so I'm not sure how they are going to compete, but I hope you
can hear the difference. Comparing all these three, remember, we're comparing Krisp,
high risk clarity, and CrystalSound. Those are the three that we're
going to check out. Like I said, if you don't. Want to pay for anything. Krisp has a really great free plan.
Check it out. I'll be leaving the link to all these
three software ambient noise reductions. Well, that baby is loud. I. Hope to see how it sounds in the end. Okay, pausing that one because
that one's really loud. I hope all these three did a great job. I hope you compare all of these
for yourself and hear if it's worth getting one of those or getting this one
that's on a lifetime deal right now.

Like I said, I'll be leaving the link
in the description for all these three. Okay, so right now, what I'm doing is I'm checking actually the Wave
audio right here. Something I want to show you first is the lag, the lag that I see in some
of these applications, the software. Why?
Because obviously there's CPU usage when you're using this
and obviously it takes a bit for them to see what the noise is
about and then reduce it. What I mentioned before is this. Basically, let me go ahead and stretch this a bit more for the audio
and you see what the name is here.

Let me stretch it one more time. First of all, let me put
the playhead right here. That is my MacBook Pro microphone. That's when it starts capturing
sound from the microphone. Then in second place,
we have Iris clarity doing the fastest ambient noise reduction there
with a little bit less lag. Then we have CrystalSound with second place
and third place is Krisp microphone. In that sense, it's how
the noise reduction is working.

Now, like I said,
that lag is not even noticeable because basically we're talking
about milliseconds. It's not even a second, but it's there. It shows you there the CPU
usage and how it's doing. In my case, I don't have issues with CPU usage because I'm in the MacBook M1
with 64 gigabytes of RAM, so I don't have issue using all
the these at the same time. But if you have some lower capacity app, software, computer, desktop, or laptop,
you will have some more lag. That's what I would think. So test that out for yourself
with your own computer. What I noticed right now is that Iris Clarity is the one
that keeps the most sound there.

You can see here on the sound waves,
but they are peaking. You can see there?
That little red is not good. Now, when you come to CrystalSound and Krisp microphone,
it's not peaking, that means. But over here on the MacBook Pro
Microphone, we're also peaking. It keeps the most sound there. Do consider that. But when it comes to noticing something weird, like robotic,
I think I hear it on the three of them. I don't hear one outstanding out there. This one doesn't sound something's going on behind the scenes
like a noise reduction ambient system. That's for that. A nother thing I've noticed is
that these three come close on these. I'm going to leave it up to you. I hope you could comment on the comments right here and let me know
what you're thoughts are. Which one you think it's better, which one
sounds the best in the three stages. Maybe one sounds better when it's
the airport, maybe one sounds better when it's maybe crying, or maybe one sounds
better when it's the coffee shop.

Depending on the scene,
it's how it's going to work. This might also vary
depending on the voice. If it's a female voice,
if it's a low pitch voice, a high pitch voice, then these
softwares might work different. But I am sure that this
will give you a sense. If you think that these are close, then CrystalSound is a good option
for the lifetime deal. Unless you have the other ones and you're
good with what you have already, then you can definitely skip this
one because I think they are on par. Now, something I did notice different from
these, each one has something unique. Krispp has the transcription and CrystalSound has the record
magic so you can upload a file here.

On IRIS Clarity, there's also a… Let me go here, over here on the website. Iris Clarity has IRIS Clarity Studio,
but this is the free tier. You don't get the most features on this. You get access to it,
but you don't get all the features. That's what you're going to get with this. I hope this video can be comparison helps
you out decide what you're going to get. If you're good with what you have, if you're good with this one, or if you
just want to skip all of these in total.

I hope you like this video.
Do give it a thumbs up. If you like it, subscribe and let me
know in the comments what you think. That's a wrap..
