So anyways, last week we were shooting another occurrence for Creative Tuesday but while we were shooting, regrettably, we got a phone call with some bad news. Someone in our kinfolk passed away due to the corona virus. So yeah, it has been a pretty tough week. We went to our household as well to comfort and to help out really … So we came a little bit too close and just out of precaution, I'm not saying that I've got corona right now, just out of precaution I'm staying at home for two weeks.Yannick and the rest and all are still going to the studio to work there, but they're maintain interval as well. So yeah, I just want to say keep distance, guys. Stay at home. It's super important. You actually don't want anyone in your family to catch this virus. This is some serious trash. So yeah. Stay at home. Stay safe chaps. So for this video today, I've been digging a little into turning 2d portraits into 3d idols. I came across this paid plugin that I investigated, I visualize on a Facebook add somewhere, that really did a pretty good job at that. But it's a paid plugin and you know us, we're always is looking to find a way to create something without plugins. So we've conclude a route to do it exclusively in After Result, without third party or paid plugins. And the room that works is if you have a photo you then first create a depth map of that, which is basically a black and white image which tells which objects are further away in the photo or which objectives are closer to the camera.And by having that depth delineate you mostly have like endless of possibilities. You can add a flow in there or you can add a depth of study in there, anything is possible. And there are two ways that you can create such a degree delineate, the first one is going to be manually and the second one is going to be automatically made, which is really cool but we'll dive into that last-minute. Next, alteration the horizontal and horizontal dislocation to luminance.So what we're doing now is using the luminance of our pre-comp to create depth.
